Identity Panel Suite supports immediate and secure user deactivation through manual emergency termination processing. This feature is critical for responding to urgent HR or security events, such as involuntary terminations or high-risk insider threats. The system enables authorized Security Administrators to instantly revoke all user access and alert relevant stakeholders, minimizing risk and exposure.
Manual Termination Request Workflow
When an emergency arises, a Security Administrator can manually initiate a termination request via Service Panel or through a defined administrative workflow. This process is designed for speed and clarity:
-
Immediate Deactivation: As soon as the request is submitted, all access for the specified user is revoked across all connected systems.
-
System Integration: Identity Panel uses HyperSync Panel to propagate changes instantly to Active Directory, Azure AD, SaaS platforms, and other target systems.
-
Access Panel Enforcement: If the user holds entitlements through Access Panel, those assignments are terminated as part of the revocation sequence.
This mechanism does not rely on automated job schedules or background processes. It operates in real time, using event-driven logic to ensure critical changes are applied without delay.
Stakeholder Notifications and Audit Logging
After processing the termination:
-
Automated Notifications are sent to designated teams, such as HR, IT, and Compliance, based on predefined rules and message templates.
-
Audit Trail Creation: Identity Panel logs all activity tied to the emergency termination, including who initiated it, the systems affected, and timestamped confirmation of access revocation.
-
Policy Enforcement: All actions are governed by customer-defined request policies, ensuring that business rules and access controls are consistently enforced.
This approach supports both transparency and accountability, aligning with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
