Access Panel simplifies access management by automating the approval and provisioning of user entitlements. Once a request is approved, Access Panel seamlessly provisions access rights—called "entitlements"—without requiring any manual administrative intervention. This automation improves operational efficiency, reduces risk, and ensures users receive timely access to the resources they need.

How It Works

Access Panel integrates with your identity data through Projected Silos and Resource Definitions, allowing it to understand and control access across systems. When a user submits a request (typically through Service Panel or an integrated workflow), it is evaluated based on predefined request policies. After approval, the system automatically applies the necessary changes—such as adding the user to a security group or assigning a specific role—using identity-aware configuration settings.

Provisioning is executed through Access Panel’s integration with HyperSync Panel, which uses state-based and event-driven synchronization to update target systems such as Active Directory or cloud applications. This ensures that access is granted exactly as intended and reflects changes in real time. Administrators can define and manage entitlements using criteria policies and request workflows, allowing granular control over who can request what, when, and under what conditions​.
