Access Panel API Integration: Support for REST and SOAP

Access Panel supports seamless integration with external systems through standard API protocols. This includes both REST (Representational State Transfer) and SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), enabling organizations to connect Access Panel with a wide variety of third-party platforms, directories, and identity providers.

API Integration Capabilities

Access Panel leverages the Identity Panel platform’s underlying provider framework, which supports:

• REST APIs: Commonly used in modern web services, REST APIs enable lightweight, fast communication between Access Panel and external systems, such as HR applications, cloud identity providers, or service management platforms.

• SOAP APIs: Still in use in many enterprise applications, SOAP APIs are supported for structured, standards-based integrations—especially valuable in regulated industries or legacy environments​.

These APIs allow Access Panel to:
