To help organizations manage access compliance and prevent unintentional access violations, the Identity Panel Suite includes built-in automated notifications that alert users prior to access expiration.
One-Week Notification Before Access Removal
Identity Panel is configured to automatically send notifications to users seven days before their access is scheduled to be revoked. These alerts serve as timely reminders, giving users and their managers the opportunity to renew or review access before it is removed. The system calculates the access end date based on criteria policies or entitlement configurations defined in Access Panel and schedules the notification accordingly.
Notifications are typically delivered by email and use customizable message templates. These templates can include key information such as the name of the resource, the scheduled removal date, and links for users to take action (e.g., request renewal). This functionality is especially useful in regulated environments where audit trails and user attestations are required.
