When an application is not integrated with the Identity Panel Suite, SoftwareIDM's platform ensures that no user access request falls through the cracks. In these cases, the system automatically generates a ticket in the organization's Information Security Management System (ISMS) and routes it to the appropriate stakeholders. This process supports compliance, maintains visibility, and ensures timely manual provisioning.
How It Works
-
Triggering Event: A request is made through Service Panel or Access Panel for access to a system that is not integrated for automated provisioning.
-
Automated Ticket Creation: Identity Panel detects the lack of integration and automatically creates a record or ticket.
-
Assignment Logic: The ISMS ticket is routed to designated approvers or administrators responsible for manual provisioning. This ensures accountability and traceability.
-
Stakeholder Notification: Assigned personnel receive notifications, so they can take manual action to provision access based on the request parameters and access policies.
This capability is particularly useful during phased rollouts, when not all systems are yet integrated, or for legacy or third-party applications that lack API access.
