Identity Panel’s Access Panel includes built-in notification features that support identity governance by keeping reviewers informed and on task. When an access review (also called an attestation campaign) is initiated, the system automatically sends email notifications to the designated reviewers, including managers and application owners.
Each notification includes a list of users and their current entitlements (such as group memberships or access to specific systems). The message clearly explains what action is required — typically to approve, reject, or flag entitlements — and outlines the due date for completing the review. These details help ensure that reviews are completed on time and align with internal policies and audit requirements.
What Reviewers Receive
The email sent to reviewers is powered by customizable message templates. These notifications typically include:
-
User identity information (name, department, role)
-
Current entitlements (such as access to applications or systems)
-
Actionable buttons or links that take the reviewer directly to the review interface
-
Review deadline to drive timely completion
In many cases, reviewers will receive follow-up reminders if actions remain incomplete. These reminders are also customizable and can be tailored to different roles or business units.
