Flexible Approver Assignments

Identity Panel allows administrators to configure one or more approvers for any review or request process. Approvers can be assigned in two key ways:

• Specific Individuals: Named users or administrators can be explicitly assigned as approvers.

• Dynamic Roles: Approval roles can be defined based on user attributes, such as:

  • The requestor’s direct manager

  • The application or permission owner

  • A designated compliance officer or system administrator

Configurable Routing Logic

The suite includes robust request policy configuration options that let you define how reviews are routed. You can:

• Route approvals sequentially or in parallel

• Set up tiered approval chains (e.g., manager → application owner → security team)

• Use recipient chains to dynamically assign multiple approvers based on context

• Configure fallback or escalation paths in case of delays or non-response
